Oh No!
(Error 500 - Internal Server Error)
Oh no for sure! The most vague of all HTTP errors has occurred! Here are some possibilities:
- Have you made any modifications to a .htaccess file? Try temporarily renaming this file for a moment to check. Bad Apache directives in a .htaccess file are by far the most common cause for this error.
- Have you modified any other scripts recently? If you're not sure, try first checking a static file (ie. an image on your account). If that works, try a basic "Hello World" script in the language your site is written in.
- If all else fails, contact Ubiquity's 24/7 support team at ubiquityhosting.com with information on what you're scripting in and the last alterations that were made.
